# Afootly

> Your town, in one place. A hyperlocal site for towns in Monmouthshire and the Wye Valley: a complete free directory of local businesses and trades with structured opening hours and phone numbers, verified structured reviews, an events calendar tagged for families, planning applications from several councils on one map, live river levels and flood warnings, fuel prices, weather, power cuts, bin rounds, crime figures, a jobs board where homeowners get quotes from local trades, a spare-capacity board (last-minute tables, free trade days), a deals board and a wanted board. Every page is a rendering of a structured record that is also available as JSON.

Rules that shape the data: free for residents; every business has a free listing; nobody can pay to rank (ordering is by name, distance or freshness); reviews answer fixed per-category questions and only verified reviews count toward scores; every external feed is archived so history is available.

## Conventions
Stable slugs and UUIDs. ISO 8601 UTC timestamps. lat/lng on everything located. Opening hours as {"mo":[["09:00","17:00"]],"su":[]}. Pagination: page, page_size (max 100). Phone numbers also as E.164 tel: URIs. Individual job-board quotes are never exposed; only aggregates above n=5.
