Bonfire Night at the George It’s the one you’ve all been asking for! The George Hotel’s Annual Bonfire Night! Thursday 5th November! (Remember, remember!) The George Hotel will be hosting our annual free fireworks display and bonfire night! Mulled Wine, Baileys Hot Chocolate, Sweet Treats & Hot Pork Rolls all available! As always the firework display is completely free however this year we will be collecting funds for the Newent Group of Man Down! A fantastic peer-to-peer support group for men throughout the country to get together and chat about their mental health issues and the current challenges they face! Man Down meets every Tuesday at 7 pm in the Newent Memorial Hall So please make sure you have some spare change to donate towards this fantastic group that our community is so lucky to have!
