Privacy
Short version: we keep as little about people as we can.
- No account needed to read anything. Sign-in is by emailed link; we store your email, nothing else, and never a password.
- Reviews are shown without your name. We keep your email so a review can be traced if it’s disputed, as the law requires.
- Public data we collect is scrubbed. Applicant names are stripped from planning records. Crime data is already anonymised to street level by the police.
- Searches are logged without identifying you (what was searched, in which area, how many results) so we can see what the town can’t find locally.
- Your area choice is a cookie so we can send you to the right town next time. That’s the only cookie we set ourselves.
- Business owners: contact details on a listing are business data, published on purpose. Claiming a listing links it to your email.
- Email lists are never sold or rented. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
